MINOR SERVICE

Tasks performed during the Minor Service:

During the Minor Service, which typically takes about 4 hours, the following tasks are performed:

  1. **Change Oil & Filter**: Oil is replaced based on the Motorcycle Maintenance History. (refer to history oil type).

  2. **Lube & Adjust Chain**: The chain is lubricated and its overall condition is checked.

  3. **Set Tire PSI**: Tire pressure is adjusted, and the condition of the tires is assessed.

  4. **Check Front & Rear Brake Pads**: The condition of brake pads is inspected.

  5. **Check Front & Rear Rotors Condition**: Rotors are examined for any bends, warps, or wear.

  6. **Check or Change Coolant**: The coolant is checked and replaced if necessary.

  7. **Check Charging Output**: The charging output is verified and noted on the work order.

  8. **Lube & Adjust Clutch Cables**: Clutch cables are lubricated and adjusted as needed.

  9. **Throttle Bodies Sync**: Synchronization of carburetors or throttle bodies is performed.

  10. **Bleed & Flush Brake Fluid, Coolant & Gear Oil**: Fluids are bled and flushed as required.

  11. **Check Steering Head Bearings**: The condition of the steering head bearings is inspected.

  12. **Lube Side-stand, Brake & Clutch Level Pivots**: Various pivots are lubricated for smooth operation.

  13. **Replace or Clean Air Filter**: The air filter is either replaced or cleaned based on its condition.

  14. **Clean Inside of Air Box**: The interior of the air box is cleaned to ensure optimal airflow.

  15. **Replace Spark Plugs**: Spark plugs are replaced to maintain engine performance.
