MEET JOSE FLORES #129
Jose Flores came to the United States from Guatemala with a lifelong love for motorcycles and a dream of becoming a road racer. In 2007, that dream became reality when he began racing with AFM in Northern California. At those early races, Jose would walk past the podium, run his hand across it and quietly tell himself, “One day, I’ll stand there.”
Nearly two decades later, that young racer has built a career spanning AFM, AMA Pro Racing, MotoAmerica and CRA, earning championships, podiums and national racing experience along the way. In 2024, during AFM’s historic 70th Anniversary season, Jose achieved a milestone that brought his journey full circle—finishing Top 10 Overall with AFM.
Today, Jose is also the owner of Pro J’s Cycles, a motorcycle mechanic, mentor and supporter of the racing community. Now, approaching his 20th Anniversary Season in 2027, Jose is chasing his next chapter: returning to MotoAmerica with the Road to Daytona while continuing to compete with AFM and CRA.
